Over 2 years I've purchased 3 planes. People see the one I have and they want one. Almost getting ready to purchase another one lol wish they could give a little more of a DISCOUNT . It's definitely not for the beginner lots of shaping and bending of the wood be patient follow directions remember measure 3 times but cut only once. It's one of the most beautiful airplane of that era

Great quality. I haven't built one in 20 years. The old stamped kits don't hold a candle to the new laser-cut models.

The kit is a challenge with the instructions provided. I read other reviews complaining about the instructions and now I know what they mean. Some parts are labeled incorrectly or just not shown. Assemble the hulls around the fuselage plank to avoid finding out it's too wide to slide thru.
Also not thrilled that the box was smashed and the pre built engine was broken. I ordered a replacement kit so I can swap the broken part and the replacement engine was also broken but easily fixed with a dab of glue.
It's a fun build but takes some thought. I had to use some glue debonder a few times to correct errors that could have been avoided with better instructions.
