Gives great support to the knee. Elastic lasted a long time before I needed a replacement.

I find these braces to be the BEST ones for me! They are really comfortable, stay in place, and offer gentle support when my knees are acting up. I have bought them several times and size up because I don't want a lot of compression; a gentle warming works wonders for my knees.

The braces are a soft very elastic knit with sturdy binding sewn to each edge so they don't fall apart with use. Inside the top edge are two rows of silicone in a zig-zag pattern that I don't care for so I wear the braces inside out and they still work great. The silicone rows are there to keep the brace in place but silicone usually irritates my skin. Using the braces inside out makes no difference in performance and they still stay in place even when I'm really active.

I own about 3 pairs of these now and seem to buy another one whenever I see them on sale. The oldest braces are still the same size and work just as well as when they were new but I find that they take a day or two to dry after washing so I like to have several pairs in reserve.

I hand wash them using warm water and Dawn dishwashing detergent. Rinse in warm water and roll in a towel to get somewhat dry before hanging them up to finish drying. I found that if I don't roll them in a towel after rinsing they take about 4 days to dry because they are such a thick knit.

At first the brace felt tight on the top part of my leg, but I learned to accept it and am very happy I did. Some braces can be very thick and heavy so there's no range of motion, but I found this was the perfect width and weight so it allowed me to bend my knee as I needed but still stayed elastic and tight on my leg. It is medium width and doesn't retain smells. I'm very happy with this and the price is very reasonable!

I do like the support and comfortable, do experience it rolling down on thigh that I'm not happy about. I started with a medium, more support, but tight, so I ordered a large, still does curl down though.
