After 20+ years, it was time to upgrade the bedskirt. I looked high, low, everywhere and wound up finding this one. The color is only slightly darker than what it appeared like on-screen but I actually liked it better. Fit is nearly perfect and that is perfect enough when it comes to a bedskirt. I had to pull it up a little on both sides, but only in the middle, which only confirmed that I need a new mattress. Sheerness is perfect as it is not too sheer that you see the stored items underneath the bed. After washing, it needed a light ironing (it came packed in plastic so was quite wrinkled but that didn't matter since I would wash before use anyway) and although it did need ironing out of the dryer, it's made so well that getting wrinkles out was a breeze. In fact, it is very well made and that combined with quality of the fabric gives it the feel and look of a much higher priced linen. If you're contemplating buying this but are thinking it probably won't live up to other brands, etc., I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Nice color, versatile, lighter natural linen color with ivory threads woven in. Fullness is 1-1/2 times, adequate for fabric. Fabric has nice body and isn't see through at all. Stitching is very nice and the fabric band is really nice, and makes it look higher end. Haven't washed it, so not sure how it will do with shrinkage and shrinking.
