Boys are cool alone!

Comes with 2 bots which is basically $60 so spending $20 on arena. That's about what it is worth as is just cardboard and plastic. My boys 8 and 5 love it but also are happy to just battle on the floor. It's large so think about storage. Our currently sits on the table when we aren't at dinner!!! Nervous to leave on the floor as I am sure if it got stepped on it would crack.

These are the most fun if you are familiar with Battlebots on TV, since they are models of actual robots. For a low price like this, it is unreasonable to expect a lot of capabilities. The IR remote control systems work a lot better than one would expect. Rarely does the IR signal get blocked. This is a good design. As someone else pointed out, only Bronco can win this match-up (by tipping over Witch Doctor). The spinner on Witch Doctor cannot do any damage and Witch Doctor cannot overpower Bronco by pushing. Get some other Battlebots and see how they do. Also, add the Arena FX Module so you can hear Faruq. A good improvement would be to have a better system of parts that fly off so you can keep score. The arena sitting on a table worked fine for us.
