I have not yet had an opportunity to use these carving tool, but they look very sturdy and well made. Purchased these in prep for retirement and plan to do some woodcarving as a hobby. I used to tinker with a set of cheap carving tools when I was younger...but these Lulu Home Wood Carving tools looks to have a much higher quality. Am please with the quality and price of this Lulu set.

For what you pay, this is an excellent set. I needed carving tools to finish out my semester in a sculpture class after our on campus classs were cancelled for Covid. If you're looking for a long lasting, professional level quality set then this isn't it but for beginners it's perfect and has everything you could need! One thing though- the mallet is pretty much crap. Get your own
