We bought this ice maker almost a year and a half ago and it's still working perfectly! It makes ice quickly and honestly it's been great. I've recently had to reach out to customer service about getting another basket that holds the ice and they have been exceptional to deal with. Highly recommend!

This is the third ice maker we have purchased in the past 5 years. Went with this brand due to the reviews and amazon didn't carry the ones we had purchased before. This works well, but like others have said it's noisier than the previous ones I have had.

The icemaker in our RV is a pain, works sometimes but sometimes just runs water. This makes ice in about 20 minutes and keeps making ice. I will reply on this now for ice in my RV.

I was searching for a small refrigerator/freezer with a built in icemaker, but they were ridiculous expensive.
My current kitchen-large refrigerator unit ice-maker tastes horrible. I opted for a Midea 3.1 Cu. Ft. Compact Refrigerator, WHD-113FSS1 - Stainless Steel (excellent review also) with this ice-maker countertop unit sitting on top.

I let the icemaker unit rest for 24 hours (Important) -- Delivered upside down in a large amazon box twice the size of the packaged unit--what a waste Amazon! I'm using cold ozarka water and the ice cubes are huge - takes about 1.5 hours to fill the ice storage compartment with large cubes. Unit runs for about 3+ hours on one water tank refill -- if your using the ice in the storage compartment (to make specified capacity of 26 pounds you would have to add water at least 7 times per 24 hours and empty the ice storage bin about 15 times per day). I will verify the specified daily ice capacity and follow up...FYI - The ice-maker does not keep the ice frozen...the ice in the storage compartment melts and recirculates.

The unit is a tad louder than expected, but definitely tolerable. The stainless steel is nice and fully wrapped around the front and sides (a tad more shinier than I like, but matches my other large stainless steel appliances just fine). Ice tastes excellent (I am extremely picky about stale tasting ice!!!!). Very convenient to access the ice tray at counter-top level....

It's so fast - I only run the unit when I need it and still have ice leftover at the end of the day...For only $120.00 its fulfilling more than my expectations -- Highly recommend!

So I've only had this for a few days but so far it has been terrific. It's easy to set up and get working. I ran it through a few cycles after cleaning/wiping it out.

The reservoir holds a decent amount of water and I was able to fill up an ice bin in my freezer in...maybe an hour. Maybe a little longer, didn't keep close track but it went quickly!

Some reviews mentioned the ice melting quickly when put into a drink, I haven't had this problem but I think if you leave the ice in the basket in the maker you will have this issue as the ice will start to melt almost immediately. Either using it right away or moving it into a freezer quickly and this shouldn't happen.

As noted in other reviews the ice is "wet" because the receptacle that holds the ice is not cooled, to prevent the ice from solidifying in my refrigerators freezer I've just been moving the ice over after one or two individual batches (as opposed to waiting for the basket to fill). It doesn't get a chance to melt much and while the pieces will freeze to each other in the freezer it's easier to break up as you go rather than after its formed into one solid chunk.

The unit itself is nice looking, the display is easy to use and see. I'm keeping this on a shelf unit that is my "bar" and it looks nice with my glasses and bar stuff.

It is generally very quiet but when the ice dumps over into the bucket it's a little noisy and will probably startle you at first but you'll get used to it.

My only small complaint is that when the ice is dumped over into the basket it kind of stays in a heap and will trigger the Full Basket sensor so ice will stop making. If I'm trying to get a full basket I've just checked on it here and there and knocked the ice down, not a nig deal just mildly annoying.

The ice scoop is nice but there isn't anywhere to keep it unless you want to take up space in the basket which I'd rather save that space for ice. So...the scoop is in a drawer and will likely be forgotten about.

All in all, I really like this machine and can't wait to use it over the holidays. No more having to run out and grab ice or hoping the designated ice bringer remembers!
