I had gotten others and they were adequate, but THIS BONAOK mic is incredible! The sound is like I am in the studio. You can adjust the sound to remove all or most of the reverb. And the color gold is perfect so it's not look like a body part, but instead a REAL professional mic...doesn't look karaokeish. LOVE IT and will be using it for smaller functions that I get asked to sing at, like a birthday surprise at a restaurant. AWESOME BUY...THANK YOU!!! This microphone is easy to use, ready-to-go right out of the box, and a lot of fun for living-room karaoke nights with family and friends. It works best for small gatherings because the speaker output is not very loud (but is about what you would expect for it's size). Basically, this mic has all the good things that the BONAOK Q37 has, plus adds the vocal suppression ("Accompany/Original Switch") function--which is great for singing along with original recordings for which a Karaoke version may not exist.

BOTTOM LINE: if you plan to use only Karaoke apps or YouTube Karaoke videos, get the Q37. But, if you want to play specific original songs straight from Spotify or another music app where no karaoke version is available--Definitely get this model--the vocal suppression feature works works great!

Design & Performance--Though the overall volume level is not disappointing, neither is it surprisingly loud. In fact, it is equivalent to the BONAOK Q37 so unless you need/want the vocal suppression feature on this model, go with the Q37. Compared to most other all-in-one karaoke microphones with the bulky speaker block section, the design and button layout is pretty good, very easy to understand and use. The LED readouts near the buttons look fancy, but the buttons physically click very loud, making adjustments to voice/music/reverb very obvious to the audience. Here, I prefer the slider-style buttons on the BONAOK Q37 model). At the time of purchase, this model was only available in one color scheme (black/gray) and unfortunately only comes with a circus-clown-red pop filter... but again, if you really need/want that vocal suppression feature you can live with it (I did, and I am).

I own another karaoke mic that requires iPad connection every time my kids want to use it, so I was looking for more of a stand-alone option. This mic have a SD card support which lets me put tons of song on just a 8GB card. I wouldn't recommend anything bigger or it'll take you forever to cycle through songs. My kids now can just pick up and sing with me. The sound is great and independent volume control for voice and music is perfect since my mp3 are in different volume.

I did run into a strange scenario where the mic was picking up deleted song from the SD card. I verify on both windows and macOS and don't see the files. I ended doing a fat32 format and it's fixed. Hope this helps someone who runs into this issue. Cheers!

I bought this mic 4 months ago ,my wife loved it since the first day we got it ,she sings almost every day, this product not only looks good but it also sounds great. The customer service is outstanding ,after 4 months we had some issues with the charging port, I contact them, with in few hours they responded and guided me how to fix the the problem but I found out that the charging port broke and fell inside the speaker, I told them,send them the picture of it, within 24 hours they email me telling me the new one is on the way, I ll receive it on Oct 15,just simple as that, that's a great customer service , just that would make me buy from them a thousand times, on top of that the product is outstanding, good solid quality product, I would recommend to everyone

I've tried a few of the Bonaok mics, this one is my favorite because it sounds the best, like a stadium sound, which is what I like. The cool thing about this mic is that if you get a high quality AUX cable, you can hook it up to your car (through the aux port if your car has one) and sing through your car speaks and sound like a real pro. I tried their other mic that transmits through the FM radio station, but it didn't sound as good as this one. If you're a singer and want to practice singing on a mic, and hear your voice projected through speakers, this is the way to go, so far :)
