My wife is now 71, and the hand-squeezed garlic presses are getting hard for her to crunch together. Since we use garlic almost every night, that's a crisis.
So bought this, and it's much better. Pushing and rolling doesn't take the grip strength, so easy nice fresh garlic. You do have to find something, a cutting board, granite counter, or whatever to roll it on, but that's not too bad. A good tool as one ages.

It's a lot safer to use in the flat surface of a knife that I used to use for smashing my garlic. And then you have that cool silicone garlic peeler that works real nice. As far as ergonomically scale my fingers and hands are a little bit big but it's still gets the job done.
