The grinder will grind 2lb of grain in 10 seconds. In my opinion you can't beat the performance of the 2000 gram size. The only negative I found, was it will get to hot and shut down, if you try to go to fast. This is not a serious problem, just push the reset button after it cools off a bit. I would buy a bigger one if it was available. It does make some noise, but not so bad you can't stand it. I would buy it again.

This machine lifted a great burden from my shoulders, when I purchased one and tried it. The machine ground my stuff within 60 seconds. I grounded green plantain husks, and some 2 different kinds of roots from Africa.

I am very happy with this product but only gave it 4 stars because of some features that weren't clearly represented and surprised me.
1) The product comes without a user manual. While there is a video on how to put this and that into it, I found those came already put into the machine so I didn't need to add them
2) The instruction on how much to put inside, how to close the lid, etc., would have been important but are missing
3) Once you figure out how to close it, whatever you grind in it will be very fine but will be stuck in clumps on the surface from the heat
4) The machine gets extremely hot and so one of the things I was hoping to grind, for example, was unsweetened baking chocolate. But that clearly wouldn't work! It would totally melt in it.
5) Extremely difficult to clean it! You literally would have to take it apart completely to clean it fully. So use it only for dry goods and never anything that would need to be washed with hot water and detergent. That's not possible.

It came in fast. It is also larger than I thought it would be. While it does grind items very fine in next to no time, I'm still on the fence with how the item seem to stick to the bowl. I have only used it once. So I have not had a chance to try it with all of the different items to see if this is a common issue or a one off.
