I bought this so I didn't have to keep buying water bottles. I put it on top of a 4 gallon jug of water so I wouldn't have to get one of those giant water dispensers. It works perfectly. I charge it for an hour once a month. I love it so much that I bought a second one just in case it breaks. I've had it for about 5 months. When my jug of water runs out, I refill it at the grocery store for $0.40 a gallon.

I use this as our daily dispenser. We have filtered water at our kitchen sink where I fill 5 gallon bottles and our kitchen fridge freezer makes our ice. So far this has been a great addition to the water system at our house. I don't have to leave the house to fill our water, don't have to buy ice, and now an inexpensive but terrific way to dispense our drinking water. AND best of all it is freaking portable! I have two and I recommend you to do the same.

We stay a week at a lake house every summer and the amount of plastic water bottles we go through is insane.
