Despite how thin and lightweight this rain jacket is, I was super surprised by how warm it kept me, almost to the point of being too hot. I think it's ultimate benefit is that it really protects from the wind. I live in Chicago and heavy winds are more a problem than the rain. This jacket kept me dry and almost hot. I loved all the pockets too which permitted me to put leave my most important items within arms reach. I would absolutely buy this jacket again in multiple colors.
