These are not flimsy, but still light weight and I think they will hold up to snow and ice. Fit my 5" gutters perfectly. This gutter guard goes in very easily if everything is set up as it should be. If your (asphalt) shingles overhang the drip edge by a full inch, as mine did, you'll find it a little difficult to teach up under the shingles to install these. Other than that, it seems to be a good product. I used this, instead of the open mesh type, to prevent gravel and dirt from getting into my gutters. My only real complaint is that they didn't include quite enough screws.

Product is easy to install. I haven't had a signific rain yet so I cannot comment on the water flow. BUT I will say that there needs to be extra screws due to the fact because of the paint on the screw heads, I wasn't able to use 8-10 screws, they would not fit in the driver that was supplied and they give you the exact amount to put 5 screws in each panel. Had to go buy more at Home Depot.
Other than that the only other issue was in delivery. They were over a week late getting here.
