VERY HAPPY HUSBAND (Trigger Finger relief)
CM✓ Verified Purchase•December 29, 2023
Thank you for this finger splint. My husband finally has relief from pain after many years of trigger finger. Price is great, too. He doesn't use the finger sleeves since they don't seem to serve a purpose for him. I would recommend different lengths and possibly water proof material so he can wear them throughout the day. They fit him perfectly on his long fingers, but when I tried them they were too long (and I have long fingers). At night, he wears compression gloves but these splints would be great to wear at night if don't want to wear gloves. I also like that you get two so one can be washed and drying while he wears the second one. VERY happy husband!
Update: since my husband has been wearing the splints for a month during the day and compression gloves while he sleeps, he no longer has any pain at all. For YEARS, we have tried everything from surgery to shots and other types of splints. At this time, he has not been wearing anything for a few weeks. I'm sure it's not gone forever, but going between the splints (daytime) and compression gloves (At night) allowed the inflammation to subside giving major relief. Thanks again!
Suggestion: Although these fit my husbands fingers perfectly, different sizes would be nice for others with smaller fingers to get the same relief.
2nd Update: it's been almost a year since my husband has stopped wearing the splint or compression gloves and he still has no trigger finger episodes. I am so grateful for these products and would recommend to everyone who is suffering from trigger finger. THANK YOU! The combination of splints and compression gloves worked the best.

Sprained finger? Recuperate in Comfort.

My husband purchased this for me after I did something and sprained my finger. (I think I had wrenched it when the silverware drawer accidentally pulled out of its track and I wasn't expecting to catch the entire weight of the drawer on my finger.) My finger's middle joint hurt for about a week until we purchased this finger splint set.
I have to tell you that my finger started feeling better from the moment I first put it on my finger. It's super comfortable, and really easy to use. The inner sleeve feels pretty good, and the support of the outer brace is perfect, as it doesn't overcompress the joint, but yet it keeps the joint nicely stabilized. To be honest, it fit so well that I often forgot that I was wearing it. (I accidentally got it wet because I forgot it was on when I put my hand in a bucket of water. Silly me, but seriously, this is a comfortable finger splint!)
Within a few days of wearing the splint during the day and night, my finger started to feel better, and I could switch to wearing it at night. By the end of the week, I couldn't tell that I had even injured the finger. Now, to be fair, yes, there was a lot of healing of the injury that may not be attributed to the BodyMoves finger splint. But I'm an older woman, and after I injured the finger, it felt like it was aggravating my arthritis. So I expected the joint to hurt a lot longer than it did. And even if it continued to hurt, wearing the splint was really, really comfortable, and it did a great job stabilizing my finger so that I couldn't do further damage to it.
I am grateful that my husband had the forethought to look for this splint and buy it for me. I highly recommend this, should you be in a situation where your knuckle joints hurt on your hands. I don't think you'd be disappointed with the purchase. I certainly wasn't.

Unbelievable effectiveness with swollen fingers (arthritis)

I've had rapid onset, severe arthritis this past year. I've been scrambling to find relief for the pain in my fingers. Swollen knuckles (can't fit my wedding ring over the knuckle). Massages (feels good but now terribly effective), prednisone (effective, but only short-term solution, re: side effects), CBD oil (nope), hemp cream (nope), battery-powered hand massager (nope), NSAIDs (nope), Acetaminophen (nope), oxycodone (well, yeah, but can't do that long term!). Oxycodone and prednisone certainly gave relief from pain, but not the swelling. It's been awful. Plus I've lost general mobility in my fingers. Can't play guitar anymore. Really, been awful.
These stupid little finger sleeves. Oh my gosh. Within 18 hours the swelling went down for the first time in SIX MONTHS! I can't believe it. Still "sore" but not unbearable. Marked, marked improvement. The splints help when I sleep, preventing my fingers from "curling up." That's why I got them, for the splints. The splints are fine. Well-made and perform as expected. But the finger sleeves! Wow! Very comfortable and have made a huge difference. IDK why compression works (I'd have thought they'd cut off the circulation and make things worse, but no, they are extremely effective in keeping the swelling down). Wasn't expecting this. They are worth the price of admission alone. Pretty remarkable. I'm very pleased, to say the least.

Pleasantly surprising solution to my finger problemo

I'm fairly young in my early 30's, and use my computer quite a bit thanks to the lockdown, and found that I injured my right pointer finger from overuse of my mouse. I would probably declare this arthritis or the onset of trigger finger possibly.... Bottom line is I was having issues closing my finger without feeling some pain the more I closed my finger. So I figured I'd get some kind of brace for it and give it a chance and so far I've noticed improvements in the range of motion of my finger again without pains flaring up or my finger getting swollen up.
I've been using the elastic sleeves that came with the order over the actual braces because it's less intrusive and functions more naturally for about three weeks now. It's been a slow heal. But I've been keeping the sleeve on my pointer most of the time outside of showering and doing yard work. The sleeve stays on during the night no problem unlike the brace which sometimes wouldn't be on my finger when I woke up. I've noticed, in my case, that it takes a LONG time to see improvements with my own injury and you have to stick with keeping your finger in a sleeve/brace to see improvements. But I can say for myself, this has been a worthwhile purchase though it has been a long journey. At the rate at which my finger is healing, I'm assuming it maybe another month of keeping to this sleeve. Regardless, I'm pumped to know that I no longer have swelling happening, and my range of natural motion has drastically improved over a few weeks.
I can other health choices have changed since a few weeks back also that may have helped with healing. I take multivitamins with Omega=3's now, exercise four times a week, drink more water... so who knows how much outside variables maybe also impacting my recovery. The big key for me was to stop the inflammation so my finger could heal, which seems to be working so far. Still recommend trying this if you can relate to my post though. Worth a shot at the very least!

One year and still works great.

I've been using it for a year to treat trigger finger. I wear it every night and it has held up well even after being washed in a washing machine. It took some getting used to but I don't even notice it now. I have small hands and I use it on my ring finger. Disclaimer: I only recently started washing it in the washing machine so I don't know if it would last a year washing it once a week. It started having an odor after a year's use and I figured if it fell apart I would just get a new one. 3 washes and it still looks good. I don't recommend putting it in the dryer.
