Great for First builds.

When looming to start a PC build on a budget the AMD Ryzen 3 3200g is the one that I recommend. It's affordable it it will be able to process just about anything you throw at it. I kept a my budget low and my pc ran like a beast. Running games wonderfully. Especially because this CPU comes with a built in GPU. Of course it's not the best GPU but it definitely helps those out there hoping to get into simple games such as league of legends.
Good for basic office tasks.

Great processor for a small NAS Server
Chris S.✓ Verified Purchase•October 19, 2023
With only 4 cores and 1 thread per core, definitely not recommended for gaming or any high end processing, but is perfect for a small NAS or media server where you want to conserve power. Paired this with a Gigabyte B550 mini-ITX motherboard with a 2.5G Ethernet, 32 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 128 GB NVMe SSD for the TrueNAS Scale system. With the 5 Hard Drives spun down, the whole thing only draws about 25 W and its seems plenty powerful to handle the processing for the Raidz2 configuration just fine. And the supplied AMD Wrath Stealth cooler fit perfectly in the small Jonsbo N2 case.
excellent, works well, and I recommend it.

This processor works much better than I thought, and it also works better than many people had told me, I did a lot of research before buying it and I have to say that it exceeds all the expectations I had, I have been using it for more than a year and it still works great, I use this computer for programming, but I also play a lot, I feel very happy and satisfied with this processor and its performance.
Here are some of the games I've played:
-Raging 2.
-Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
-all three Tomb Raider.
-A Plague Tale.
-Genshin Impact.
- Battle Front I.
-RocketLeague.
-Rime.
-Nioh: the complete edition (I didn't play this much, I don't have a controller and the keyboard doesn't work well)
-Subway 2033 Redux.
-Metro Last Light Redux.
-I played all of these games on ultra.
-Control (I played this on medium)
I have played many more, but more or less we can see that it can run some games, this does not mean that it is a miraculous machine, but if like me you do not have a lot of money and want to have something for a few months or a year it can be useful, and you can even upgrade the parts later if needed.
I have 16GB of ram, two disks, a solid 240GB, and a 750GB that my cousin gave to me is very old and slow but it works just fine because I needed the storage space.
please note that this is a review of how this processor has worked for me, you have to do your own research so you don't waste your money.
Finally, thanks for your time and sorry my English is bad, but I think this information can be useful to you.

Good choice for a budget build
Xg✓ Verified Purchase•September 14, 2023
I did my last build in 2012 and thought it was about time I upgraded one of my home desktops that is used principally for internet browsing, watching Amazon Prime and paying the bills online. I don't have the least interest in 'gaming' (aka sitting on one's butt for hours or days at a time).
I chose this processor mainly for the price. It has 4 processor cores and can run 4 threads 'simultaneously'. This is more than enough processing power for the uses mentioned above.
Another significant reason was that it has integrated graphics. This means that you don't have to buy a separate graphics card for your build which is at least a saving of %150.
It comes with a heat sink which is more than adequate to cool the processor. I have two other fans in my computer case and (so far) I have never seen my PC running hotter than 47 C. Of course, I am not doing any heavy video editing or anything else that makes CPU usage go up to 100% on all cores.
Please note that this processor uses an AMD AM4 socket. Remember this when choosing your motherboard!
The performance on most of the applications listed above is great. Windows 10 boots up in just a few seconds. (Of course, this is partly due to using NVMe storage. I highly recommend this at least for installing your operating system. If you wish to install this storage, make sure your motherboard has at least 1 M2 socket and that the dimensions of the storage stick are consistent with the interface on your motherboard).
If you're looking to a budget build, this processor is great choice.
