I bought this light as a gift to a family member that lives in Pennsylvania. There growing season is short and I got it for him so he could get a jumpstart on the grow season.
He absolutely loves it. He is able to germinate, and grow his plants to a nice size before hardening them off to put into his raised beds. He lives in a townhouse and it's the perfect size for him and the light is outstanding.

I bought 5 of these almost exactly a year ago and have them powered on 12 hours a day, every day. They are very bright and all of my plants"¦ mostly succulents/cactus have responded very well to them. Since I put them up, I have seen significant new growth from plants that are 3 feet, or more, below the light. They are certainly cooler than a traditional 1000w light, but they still give off enough heat to feel it several feet away, which is only an "issue" if you have several next to each other inside the house or in a small room. The quality is great, so I'd have no problem buying these again, or hesitate to buy the larger, much more expensive lights, because I know they work.

Very bright consistent light. Spectrum must be good because my GDP Plants love it. Initially I may have cooked some leaves (early veg.). I set intensity to 40 and powered on. After seeing leaves I adjusted dim and nothing seemed to change. Took clear to 0 and lights went off. Turned up dimmer and worked fine. Keep that in mind on 1st use. Unit is relatively lightweight with nice hangars. Does not get hot. No noise at all. I plan on connecting to my 4" AC Infinity UIS fan controller. May update with how that goes. Very nice light!
