Worth purchase despite some bad reviews

Installed for a 30ft flower bed with brand new plants. We have all 5 heads mounted, 3 tall 2 short and it works flawlessly. Does exactly what we needed to do. Set up was quick and painless - any non handy person could manage it! I wish it came with more spikes to help keep pinned down, but we made it work! Have used for about 20min run time for 1 week! Will update at the end of summer to say if it held up! 100% worthy the purchase!
Easy to install, VERY good watering system

We bought two sets to water new flowerbeds and trees in our back yard. After installing them the day they came (only took about and hour and 1/2 for both systems) I ordered two more for my front and side flower beds. The black hose is easy to hide, the coverage is excellent and easily controlled using the adjustable nozzle heads and snap-on nozzle adapters. The risers that come with it can be stacked (I have a set of old steps against our fence and the flowers on the back row are tall) to water hard to reach plants.

I have a 4-way hose splitter on our faucet with a timer, saving a ton of time, water and money.

Tips:1) Before installation, "unwind" the hose and lay it in the sun. This makes it far more pliable and easier to lay out as needed. 2) Be careful when using the hooked stakes to hold the hose down where needed. They can easily puncture the hose (this can be fixed, though, as the kit comes with "goof plugs".

I highly recommend this sprinkler system. The bid I got to install professionally was over $2,000, which 4 of these kits covers ($130), and, in my opinion, is just as effective.
I'm ordering 3 more!

The product works like a champ. Easy to install (NO tools needed) in a max of 30 minutes. Works perfectly at 360 or 180 degree spray. Distance of spray adjusts nicely (fine spray, by the way) - distance of spray is about 12 ft diameter circle at max. With splitters, timers, and other "add ons" you can cover almost any shape planting area for any length of time at any time of the day!! Definitely conserves water and effectively directs the water. Two suggestions - 1) follow directions and lay tubing in the sun to soften before working with it if you can and 2) wear a bathing suit so you can adjust everything without having to run back and forth to the faucet to turn it on and off.
Great way to create your own sprinkler system!

This will be the 2nd time I have used these for watering around my house. I use hoses and timers to create my own little irrigation system. The initial set I had purchased locally lasted over 10 years.
Careful with the ground stakes

This is an excellent, economical irrigation solution for gardens which are hard to irrigate with sprinklers. Very easy to assemble and install. Spray pattern is adjustable for diameter and radius. The only thing you need to watch is installation of the ground stakes supplied with the kit. I've included a photo of the stakes, the one on the left being "as provided" the one on the right with the loop bent outward to enlarge it. The hose supplied is a thin wall, soft tubing. Attempting to install the stakes, expecting the point of the loop to slide over the hose will result in penetration of both walls of the tubing. While plugs are also provided to remedy unwanted holes, when the holes you have caused are two in line only one plug can be installed. I used a small screw to slow the leak from the other hole and placed the leak next to a bush to use it for watering also, but best not to cause the issue at all.

I have ordered two more of these kits, so maybe that is the best recommendation I can give.
