This is a great home kit to safely take care of your fur babie's grooming needs. It does make noise, but not nearly as much as other clippers I've heard. The scissors are very sharp so they make it really easy to shape up with very little fuss. They are also very sturdy, clearly not a cheap pair. I'd say for me personally for my dog, this was a great set. I tried to make the review I would have wanted so hopefully this covers all the bases.
Good for the price.

So far I really like it. The noise level is great. However, when you put the guard on, it gets super load. To me the clippers do not work well with the guard. I'm not sure why but it's like it won't cut. It works great for a very short cut. I love the scissors and the metal comb.

Below is my original review, straight out of the box, first use review. I had to keep on using these clippers because I did not have time to buy new ones. Had I known that with time they would get sharper and they work seamlessly, effectively and tirelessly. These have outlasted $300 clippers that I've purchased before. I am sorry to have given an unjustifiable review.
I would give it 0 stars if possible. I work in Veterinary so I am used to clippers. I tried to just give a little trim on my pup, 3" comb kept falling off, wasn't able to always cut through his fur, really loud and kept getting snagged after having "too much" fur on the blade. Had to stop constantly to clean blade. Scissors even a little sticky did not cut well. Waste of money.

I have an overweight older aged beagle and she needed her hair trimmed BAD, but she's getting old and picky about who she lets touch her, so a groomer was just a no-go for us.
I have never cut a dogs hair before and this was super simple to use. and I loved that it came charged and it lasted up to 2 hours before needing charged!
I also love that it came with other things(nail clippers, combs, scissors, ever oil for the blade!)
