It's almost what I was looking for

The kettle is attractively designed and its capacity is approximately half that of the full-size kettle I had been using, which is the primary reason I purchased it. However it still has approximately the same base circumference so it takes up the same amount of space on the counter and it requires approximately the same minimum amount of water to be heated, which somewhat defeats the purpose for a person looking to make one cup of tea at a time. It also heats the water a bit more slowly than the big one; not so much as to be a problem at all, but noticeable. (I wish it had temperature settings but was unable to find any model of smaller kettle that does, at least not at an affordable price.) A nice feature is the removable infuser so that I can make a whole pot of tea ( or coffee, maybe?) when friends visit, though it's not something I can use to make my single cup since it requires the kettle to be full. Overall, though, it's a definite improvement over the big black kettle that's now stowed in the back of a cupboard.
Don't reheat TOO soon- if full!

I love this kettle- the design, the style, & the speed. It's easy to use and clean too. Since it only has one heat setting, if you reheat the liquid in the kettle, it can boil over! I learned this the first week of using it. My tea was slightly warm, and since I like my tea hot, I pressed the on button. I go back to find that the tea boiled over! but it was only a little mess. I don't think this would have been a problem if my kettle hadn't been so close to the max line. Regardless, I've reheated my warm tea many times since then, and it hasn't been a problem - as long as the kettle isn't so full.
