Works great

Overall durable and was easy to install. Instructions were perfect. The only thing I could knock it for is the cheap plastic screws/bolts, overtime they have broken and work their way out. I've replaced the cheap plastic screws with some metal from the hardware store. I think they made the screws/bolts out of plastic so therefore you can cut them off easily to the thickness of your door. Overall very happy with the product.

Keeps the wind and cold out but all our pets from a 19 lb cat to 130 lb Newfoundland are able to use it
Better than the Regular Door

Make absolutely sure you follow the guideline for preparing the door. Once installed it is awesome. If the wind is really strong, it will still open up a little. I like it though.
Dogs love it

Never had a doggy door before but having this is awesome for our dogs and they love it. They only hard part for me was cutting the hole in my door but that was expected considering I never have done anything like that before. Plus I decided not to take my door off when installing it. Other then that everything else went pretty smoothly. I did have to take off the insulated flap and the inside flap to teach my dogs to go through it easier. Once they got use to it I added it back on and its very good at keeping the heat out.
4th Door over the last 20 Years

Had to replace my big box purchased doggie exterior door as my dogs broke the plastic top off a few years ago. They broke it so only on plastic flap was still working.

Purchased the large and it matched the big box installed doggie door. Taking the old door off was simple. I did buy a can off of 1 inch great stuff and filled the open interior of the door to improve insulation. The challenge with the new door was due to 3 reasons. 1) the black interior flaps were nearly impossible to install and have the plastic screws reach through to tighten. The big box store used metal screws (8/32 size about 4 inches). I attempted to cut the black flaps to the the ones that came off. No luck. 2) the plastic screws were not long enough. I went to 2 ace hardwares, Home Depot and a Menards and could not find a 8\32 size screw longer than 3 inches. I elected to Gerry rig and glue the door to n without the black flaps within the petsmart door as instructed. The screws were then able to reach through (I probably should have cut the black plastic flaps more than I did). I put some firm styrofoam on the bottom and side for a firm fit to the flaps. 3) the manufacturer needs to redesign the way we have to attach the 3 flaps to the plastic brace. This required a second set of hands if you have them. I used tape to hold in place to install but a better design to snap and hold in place would help. Also the plastic piece with 5 holes to support the flap installation need to be made of sterner plastic or even metal. On my old door that I replaced my dogs broke this and tightening the screws in this door you cans see if you tighten with a power tool screw driver you can break the plastic

Overall it was a challenge and I know previous installation s on a solid wood door was a lot easier. Also I recommend you buy 10 - 8/32 screws from McMaster carr if you are replacing a big box door doggie door. You can then cut the excess metal off.
