We have numerous pieces of case iron cookware, that's all we use, and the cooking surface on the Victoria pieces are smoother than the brand we've been buying for years. A smooth cooking surface (like the vintage Wagner pieces) is the reason people loved Wagner. The cast iron wasn't better (heavier), but the smooth cooking surface certainly was. I'll purchase Victoria in the future.
