There are thicker, more durable options out there and, based on the price difference, didn't expect much from these. But I've been pleasantly surprised. They are only slightly thinner and less durable than more expensive alternatives (which I've used for years) but these do just as good a job in protecting my nose from irritation. Also, because they are less stiff/rugged, they actually stay in place better while putting on CPAP mask. Keeping the protectors and your skin reasonably clean can make these last almost as long as the others.

Eliminated Sores on My Nose

The product works as intended for me. When I changed masks, the cushion left a couple of sore spots on the bridge of my nose. These pads solved that problem immediately, and no more leaks from the very top of the mask.
The downsides: Can be difficult to get it loose from the clear plastic sheet. It doesn't stay in place unless you have your head tilted back. I put mine on while laying flat on my back, or close to it. Occasionally I have to remove the mask, reinstall the gel pad, and try again.

Easy to use after modest trimming, but a little difficult to stay in place when putting on my full Resmed face mask. Easy to clean and rinse, but transparency makes it difficult to see when drying. This has led to family members knocking it off the floor, stepped on, or thrown in trash when drying on a paper towel. I gave four stars, because it works great at protecting the bridge of my nose.
