These headphones are fine for my purposes, mostly watching TV late at night after my wife has gone to sleep. I can run the TV sound through my stereo amplifier, turn off the speakers and turn the volume up as much as I care to. These are not "Pro" headphones, but I'm not using them in a critical process, such as mixing music from a recording console. The fit is fine and they're quite comfortable. Good buy. Thanks Amazon!

I bought these when they were on sale and I would gladly buy them again at full price. The sound quality especially for music is very good. I have not had any issues with unwanted noise when jostling the cord as I would have expected with the style of cord it comes with. It is very nice that I can plug them into two different audio sources and hear both of them just fine.

I'm sure there are other uses for these headphones, but my main purpose was to be able to listen to music through vintage receivers as well as those into the 90's. Fair price and quality sound are two other positive benefits. When in use, these headphones don't automatically turn off the system speakers, but you should be able to simply cut off the system speakers if you want. You can hear your favorite music just fine on these headphones without bothering anyone else. Unless someone has a musically trained ear, most people will be very happy with the sound coming through the headphones!

Ordered these for home use. They are larger than i had expected, but do collapse down into a carry bag, that is included in the purchase. Come with 2 different cord options. Ear pads fully cover listener's ear, which reduces background noise. While these are not actively 'noise cancelling', this fitment does block out some ambient background noise pretty well.
Once on your head, there is a little pressure on your ears/side of head, but the padding on the ear pieces does help keep these comfortable.
Sounds are clear, delivering the highs and lows quite well. I have used these with a couple different portable MP3 players, and the headphones have been able to take max volume and still maintain sound clarity. Other than for rating purposes, I don't think it would be advisable to utilize these at that volume level for extended time, but these will punish your ear drums if that is something you are looking for.
