Love it works great for my gym locker

The lock was easy to install using the QR code which leads to the app, and from the app I was able to install my partner and I's fingerprint. It was intuitive enough that we didn't need to use the instructions to do so. The lock was already charged, I appreciate that, but the rubber seal over the charging part was a little hard to pop open (I used a knife edge to open it and it was fine). Works well opening it with our finer prints and the app. Well done.

I will use this lock on my garage and will probably open it 1 to 3 times per week. I will update how well it works in November 2023, if there are any long term issues. If I don't do so, that means there are none. I have other things to do.

To those that have trouble using the lock every day and/or with "wet" gym fingers. 1. Dry off your finger, air it out, blow air on it. Maybe they have towels. Try yelling at it. Sorry this isn't Star Trek and every new technology doesn't work perfectly in every possible scenario. A lot of things don't work when saturated: car, cigars, paper, your laptop, etc., etc. 2. If you use everyday, a lot, the battery will die faster. Surprise. Surprise.

Ok...I have read almost all the reviews on this BT padlock. The most common complaints is about giving it certain complaints and nobody knows the PIN to connect to BT on their phone. That being said, here are my responses: Only allow certain setting when you are using the App. If you are not willing to do that, then most modern day BT enabled devices are not for you. No PIN is required. If you were doing that you probably did as I did...when the App said to connect via BT, you went to your phone's settings, BT, Pair a device, chose ****FPL, mine specifically said BlueFPL I am sure because I ordered the blue lock. THIS STEP IS NOT NECESSARY.

Once you added the lock in the App it will be recognized via BT from within the App. Another review stated this but not in a very clear way, so let me clarify here:

This is assuming you set up your lock in the App.
Open the App and choose your lock.
The screen will put your lock name at the top, a lock icon with a fingerprint inside and "Disconnected" below and a black dot with a blue ring (yours might be a different color) with "Unlock" beneath the dot.
***If you tap the "Unlock" dot it will run an animated icon saying "Connecting", at the end of which it will display a Notification the device connection failed, please make sure that BT and device broadcast are activated".
This is where everyone gets frustrated. Your phone is all set up perfect so long as BT is enabled and broadcast is activated. The problem is your lock is not.
The lock does not broadcast its BT signal all the time. Only for a few seconds when the fingerprint pad is touched.
So, touch the fingerprint pad on the lock with any finger to 'wake up' the lock. It will then broadcast its BT information. Then touch the 'Unlock' icon again. Your lock will almost immediately unlock without using the stored fingerprint.

I did not give it a 5* rating for the following reasons:

It can be cantankerous when trying to use the stored fingerprint after getting out of the shower and your hands have been wet.
The instructions are not well written. I personally feel I should not have to read reviews to figure out how a product works.

I hope this review helps someone out to be able to use this lock with BT without the frustration.

I ordered one to use at the gym so I wouldn't have to carry a key or remember a new code. Very east to set up. Can unlock with fingerprint or by the app on your phone. Makes things easier I ordered a few more for gun cases.

Unlocks super quick. I love it and cant see going back to a regular lock ever again.
