This jacket, i ordered in size small. when i received it, i noticed that it fit quite a bit big. i was considering returning to exchange for an xs. Then, i noticed that the tag said i had received a size medium. This got me to looking at what i had ordered more closely. i had ordered a deep wine color, but what i received was a tomato red color. I don't mind the red color- but, it's not what i ordered.
I like the length of the jacket, it hits mid thigh, closer to knee length. But, it's missing the hourglass shape that is advertised. it is also missing the warmth that is repeatedly mentioned in the reviews. i put the jacket on and stepped outside to see if it could withstand the coolder weather- it was 37 degrees outside and i could feel a chill through the jacket. I was shivering in under 5 minutes in 37 degree weather, with no breeze. this is bad, for a winter jacket. it gets MUCH colder here, in the winter, than 37 degrees. that's practically beach weather here.
i sent the coat back.

I was on the search for a new coat and I found this one. I was kind of skeptical about it at first because some of the reviews say to only order if you're in extremely cold weather. I live in the northeast and it's gets pretty cold and I started wearing it when temperatures got around 30 degrees. I had both a long sleeve shirt and a light work sweater/jacket underneath and it still felt fine and was perfect for me.
Please note that I do often feel cold so if you often feel hot that's something to consider when buying the coat. For description purposes, I am 5'3" and approx 130 pounds. I got a small. It fits just right but could feel like it's small when zipping up and in the shoulder area. I feel like if I would have gotten a medium it would have been too big for me, but I recognize some people like sizes to run bigger. I like my outfits more snug.
