A little buggy, maybe it's the fire stick?

Works with the fire stick although can be a little buggy. I used it a few times but eventually went to a different type of interface to watch movies off of USB stick. Maybe it was the fire stick itself that made this a little buggy? It did work but, I think I would actually recommend something else and did buy something else to watch movies off of USB stick.

I honestly didn't expect this to work. I bought it to modify a Playstation Classic. It didn't make sense why the power cable would accept external usb, but it did. It's nice being able to add extra features to my system and play 2 player games now. The wire seems a little flimsy, but I can't imagine myself moving it around enough to cause any damage. Definitly work the money.

As others have commented this little gizmo is the perfect solution to adding more storage to your Amazon Firestick. There is a great tutorial on YouTube from Troypoint on how to accomplish this task. It's not as simple as plug and play. 1st, you will need a USB drive which is easy enuf. 2nd, you will be typing in various code to get it up and running...all explained very well in that tutorial. Took about half hour w/ the longest part being factory resetting the Firestick. Now, when I sideload Apps they go straight to that partition on the USB drive and not the stick itself. You can also format the USB to a partition that will save movies and TV shows if you choose (requires a file manager app). All made possible with this handy little $7 cable. Thumbs way up!
