First off, the hood is ridiculously big. I am glad it is detachable. I have knit hats I can wear. The collar comes up just right to keep my neck warm. I am in love with this coat! So glad it is very warm, I was hoping for that. Love the knit cuffs to keep the cold air out. Winters get pretty cold where I live. Coat is very flattering and just the right length. I am 5'6" and weigh 133 pounds and got a Medium and it fits perfect. The pockets are deep enough. The zipper seems to be quite substantial, and not cheap and flimsy. I got the black. It's a keeper!

This coat just arrived so I don't know how warm it will be but I bought it only to go through the first part of the New England Winter before I head South. I wear a 6 petite, so bought this coat as a size Small and it's a perfect fit! Seems large enough in the arms to wear a sweater under it. The hood unzipped easily and wasn't that big overall IMHO. Only odd thing is that it came in a small zippered bag which was then put in a massive Amazon cardboard box with BUBBLEWRAP!! Huh? Way too much overpackaging but again, I am pleased with the coat.

This coat is very tailored so size up if you want a little extra room. Other than that it is warm enough for the Colorado cold weather. I am a size M so bought a size M thinking from the size chart it would be big enough but it wasn't so I returned it for a L and it fits perfect.
