The unit I got is essentially silent. I use it to watch movies and such in my bedroom, and I've never noticed any fans or other noisy vibrations. It's perfectly fine for watching your favorite streaming service at decent quality, and not *that* much more than a set-top box. Sure it doesn't have a remote. But It works great tucked into my nightstand and has been a reliable little unit for barely over the cost of a windows license.
Oh, but get a new mobo/keyboard. The included ones feel like they are too cheap for a dollar store bargain bin.

I purchased four of these for a client and combined them with a Logitech MX200 KB and Mouse as well as a new HP monitor. Three out of the four started with no problems, the last had a bench setup problem preventing a full boot to Windows. I went ahead and fixed myself with a fresh partition and a new install of W10 Pro. The digital license authenticated with no problem. That single issue is why there are not five but was truly now an inconvenience for experienced IT personnel.

I would dump the the private labeled KB and mouse included if I were them and come down a few bucks. Two did have on board Wifi so the adapters were not needed.
The included HDMI to Display adapter is a nice touch to include and much appreciated.

Have been using it for a couple months now and I am very happy with it. It has worked well and is fairly dependable (did shut down for no apparent reason once but nothing since then). Can't beat the price for the performance. Keyboard and mouse are really cheap but had others that I was used to already and just swapped them out. DVD drive had a Kofax VRS Scanner disc in it but that was the only odd thing. Would easily buy again.

The refurbished Dell Optiplex 9010 arrived on time, unfortunately it was missing the power cord. Contacted customer service. They were very friendly, apologised for the mistake, and got a power cord shipped to me right away. Once I had the power cord, set up was straight forward. Despite this machine being a few years older then the Dell Inspiron machine I was replacing, it is lightning fast compared to what I was using before. I also appreciate how compact the machine is since I am using it in the kitchen area.
