Key features

  • Works with most brands of working 24 VAC valves. Clicker does NOT work with RainBird valves or Toro 53380 compact valves. Note that your controller and valves may not be the same brand. Please read the product description carefully before ordering.
  • No batteries to replace; uses your system's 24 VAC for power. Green LED lights when correctly connected and powered.
  • Clicks valves ten times a second. Detailed instructions with search strategies are included. Cheaper than hiring a professional.
  • Small and light weight (2.7" x 1.6" x 0.8", 1.2 oz) with 7 inch leads (red, yellow, green, black or white) with alligator clips.
  • Uses the system voltage to click the valves so it can't harm your valves. Replaceable fuse protects your controller against accidental shorts.

Works !!

Easy to hook up (may need to use a small wire in the hole on the controller to make contact with the clip). Signal volume depends on how deep the valve is.
Clicker worked perfectly to locate lawn irrigation valve
Sam Edwards✓ Verified PurchaseJune 30, 2023
Clicker worked perfectly as described to locate an lawn irrigation valve. Very simple to use. Turn off the water to the system and be sure the system is off. Hook up Clicker as instructed been the zone wire leading into the controller and the controller's zone connection. Turn on the desired zone that is specific to the valve you are trying to locate. The green light on Clicker should come on and your search can begin. I attempted this on a long lost zone 1 valve and was able to hear the clicking within 2 minutes and actually dig up the valve within 15 minutes. It was buried adjacent to a bush under 6-8" of soil after being undisturbed for 15+ years. Excellent product and excellent supplier.
Got the job done!

Worked great. My valves were in 6 inch round vaults. Two vaults were buried 6 inches in a landscaping bed and the others were buried 1-2 inches deep out in the turf. It turns out I have rainbird solenoids but they were still audible to me. Irrigation companies wouldn't answer the phone or call me back for this job. I have a buried wire tracer that let me know where the wires went underground but I needed this to know where to dig as trying to find valves under dirt along 150+ feet of wire was not getting it done. Knowing where the wires went helped me know where to listen for clicks but I could have gotten the job done with just the Clicker, just with more wandering around the yard.
Great product Superb customer service

I purchased a home years ago that had an existing sprinkler system but no current drawing of the installation. Over the years I was able to find all the control valves but station #5. No issue because it was working until two weeks ago. Then I had to find the "unknown valve location ". I didn't want to call a sprinkler guy and wind up being charge $150-?? For a service call so I purchased the Clicker. It arrived promptly and I tried it out. Didn't work. I checked all the System parameters like solenoid continuity wire continuity voltage etc. Everything checked out but it still didn't work. I contacted Thomas Davis the supplier of the unit and he responded properly and offered to walk me through the process. Before I made the car I found out that I had not picked up 24 V system to the Clicker and was able to check out my system. I didn't know what to expect on how the solenoid would react And how loud it would be but as I walked around where I anticipated the valve to be I've heard nothing but as I walked over towards station number four I started hearing this thumping noise and was able to locate station number five which was only 2 inches from station number four and was overlooked by me previously See attached photo. So the Clicker works fine and the customer service was superb. I highly recommend this for a 24 V system my system was a Hunter system.
Finding buried Rain Bird Valve Box
Lindsey K✓ Verified PurchaseMay 9, 2023
I've been looking for a valve box for the last few years. Knew the general location, but could never find it just by probing the ground. Tried a wire tracer, but that didn't work. Saw this little device and read the comments about Rain Bird valves being quiet, but decided to give it a try. Hooked it up and went to the know valve box.

At 10 feet I can hear the clicking but that box isn't 6 inches underground. Next, hook up on of the circuits that runs off the second valve box and start walking around in the area where I think it is. I can hear it, but it's pretty faint. Take a piece of 2" PVC pipe to use as a cheap man's stethoscope and found the box in less than 2 minutes. Dug down 4-6 inches in the dirt and uncovered that valve box that's been buried for 30 years.

PERFECT!!!!
