It's actually really pretty and SUPER SUPER light which I didn't expect (since I saw a wooden ladder with the same look for twice the price). So I bought this without reading the description. So what a pleasant surprise to receive this in the mail. I was confused and worried that I received the wrong item since it was so light in the box. The weight makes me feel like I'd use it all the time. It's opposite of unwieldy. I'm very impressed that someone finally made a super light and even beautiful ladder.
I'm already thinking about buying it for my mom, sister, aunts, best friend...we're all short (5'0") and they're constantly using chairs and climbing on counters to get to the high cabinets in the kitchen"”-which can be dangerous. Might even buy it for a housewarming gift for my other girlfriends since everyone's moving and need to reach high kitchen cabinets.

I bought this step stool for its light weight and general design. It is pretty lightweight for the height and I really feel safe when grabbing the hefty top bar when going up or down.
I wish this step stool was made in an aluminum finish--I really don't need or want the woodgrain effect--but the overall design is exactly what I want. The height of the top platform--about 32"--is really perfect for what I need; I had a shorter (albeit more attractive and lighter-weight) stool but I missed the top step just once and destroyed it and myself.
My husband is slightly over 200 pounds and feels comfortable using this stool, however commented that it could skew/bend sideways if he is not careful to maintain his balance.
The stool came boxed and wrapped in plastic; it arrived in fine condition though I was surprised it wasn't better padded to prevent movement in the box.

I was amazed at how light weight it was and its really very pretty. Sadly I had to return it because the steps are very narrow side to side and I didn't feel like it was secure. Im 5'4" and 135 and I purchased the 2 step one. Ads looks so cute. Its adorable and if It was for the grandkids it would be a keeper but its too narrow for my size 7 1/2 feet in a stable position side by side. The ladder itself feels stable just not for me to climb on. :(

Wow! Love this!! Sturdy, so lightweight and it looks like real wood. I bought my mother two. She is 80 years old and is not able to lift heavy step stools. I don't like the standard ones. I like something that looks like a piece of furniture. This is your product if the above is what you are looking for. Love the price, quality, so sturdy. My mother was so happy as well and I feel safe knowing she is not going to fall off standing on a chair. She is like me and won't use the standard ones you see, end up folding up and putting in a closet or on the side of the refrigerator. We both leave ours out all the time.

Looks nice and is light enough for an old person to carry it. The steps are a bit narrow in width and depth. I will use if around the inside of the house for watering hanging plants or dusting upper cabinets or taking down curtains/drapes etc. I would not use it for painting. I would consider this a two step. I do not think the top 3rd step is strong enough to stand on but you could use it to hold supplies. The top rail is good if you have trouble climbing. I feel that the price is too high but it is worth it to me.
