The design of the rug is modern and sleek, and it looks great from afar. However, the rug itself is super thin and stretchy. You will need some sort of non-slip rug pad for added cushion and to make sure the rug stays in place. Probably the greatest con is that the edges are not even or straight and is very noticeable up-close.

Strangely enough, this rug photographs very well and despite attempting many angles and closeups, I was not able to show that in reality the black lines are more choral because they are pained on (second picture shows the back side) and don't fully cover the original cream background. Hence 4 stars.
All in all, I truly love the pictured color combo and the fact that this rug is washable. However, somehow in person that "faded" black plus casual texture don't provide the pulled together, grown up bathroom look I was hoping for. And contrast between the shaggy part and the rest of this rug is not as pronounced, which causes "vanilla" effect. Regretfully, I'll have to return the rug.
But I have to add that the quality is vey good, the shaggy parts are very soft and made well (hard to pull out) and elevate the visual effect.
I LOVE the cream base color, it's just that perfect shade - warm and inviting and cozy.
Beautiful tribal design overall. Great use of textures.
