This keyboard tray is solid and easily swings and swivels when desired. I like the fact that it can easily swing all the way out into a co-pilot position when I'm "flying" with a kid or friend. Read the manual and use common sense"”a couple of the adjustments, once tightened, are not meant to be messed with while your keyboard is on it, unless you want to drop your keyboard. One of the quick-release type fasteners is a quick-swivel to use with the keyboard in place, which works great. Just read the manual so you don't drop your keyboard, and you will really love the build quality of this unit and the options it gives during play! I think it's a great value and would buy it again if building another rig.

Great device, good for keyboard, mouse pad abit small.

I like the ability to configure my keyboard and mouse in any position for use and at the same time the comfort level is so appealing with the space saved from the desk. It's a wonderful design

Pro's: I have a new 11th gen i-9 w/3080 vid 4 cooling fans 2 for CPU and 2 for gpu. This rig is a beast and is heavy. The tray handles the weight phenomenally. The little round mouse pad attached is great and handy. a lot of the parts are adjustable to make your space as accommodating as possible to your personal comfort needs while using your laptop.
Cons: The mouse pad surface is circular and about the size of a normal hand. roughly 6" round. so it's on the small size especially if you make drastic XYZ axis movements with the mouse. It has a cup holder that you can add. I dont have mine on because it looks like it would fit a 7-11 mega gulp size drink. I have normal 12 ounce cups and they get lost inside the holder. Plus, do you really want a drink next to your very expensive set-up? no thanks not me. The leg stand is basically a single vertical shaft up connected to a single horizontal shaft out with some funky stubby thing at the end. It will NOT stand on it's own. If you don't have a way to secure the base firmly to the ground then do not buy this. I have mine set under one of the heavier sectionals right next to my recliner.

Would I recommend this? In a word YES, BUT it's more complicated than that. Yes if you can figure a way to stabilize it and heck no if you don't have a way.
