Is great in theory…but make sure your outlets are level.

LOVE the idea of this but it's just not working out for the outlet I want to use it on. We have very LIMITED counter space in our bathroom so I was hoping to use this to be able to store my electric toothbrush and a couple other small items on. Unfortunately the outlet is too close to the other wall on one side so the shelf barely fits and after closer inspection the outlet is tilted slightly in the wall which makes the shelf un-level and things slid off. Would be great if there was some way to adjust this on the shelf but the only way I can see to fix it is to turn off the power to the bathroom and try to re-instal the socket so it is level"¦which is much more work than I'm wanting to have to do for something that's just supposed to easily plug in.

I love how many plugs this has including the usb plugs. The shelf is really handy I have been able to throw my cell on top or portable charges and one I have even places my Alexa.

This is a really great socket to add to a wall outlet that is being used a lot. I personally put it in the plug up by the counter in my bathroom, because I am always utilizing that outlet (toothbrush, hair dryer, hair styling tools, phone charger, etc). Having multiple plugs on this means you can keep multiple things plugged in at a time, which is really helpful. I love the USB plugs, too, so you don't use up plugs with extra power adapters. Plus, the little shelf on top is great for either sticking your phone, or small items that you just need to keep off the counter/floor. I would also be inclined to use this near a desk or in the kitchen.
The outlet has a long screw through the middle that you can use to anchor into your wall outlet, but this screw doesn't align with any of our outlets, so I'm not sure how useful that may be. I do think the idea of screwing it in would be helpful, because the bulk of this wall outlet means it can get nudged out just a bit from the wall, and I would really prefer it be snug in the outlet and against the wall. However, it hasn't actually caused a problem, it's just how I would prefer it, so if the snugness were fixed, I would give it 5 stars. Until I have an outlet that the middle screw aligns with, I suppose this will just be my burden to bear. Still think it's worth having, though.
