I have landscape lighting and want my lawn aerated. There are some areas where it's not obvious which route the wiring goes, so I need a device to locate and trace it. This KOLSOL NF-820 seemed like it might work. I read the directions (not very clear) and did some research on the Amazon site reviewing the pictures and videos. It's actually pretty simple to use for tracing underground cable/wire. On the EMITTER, connect the black clip to a ground and the red clip to the wire you want to trace. Flip the ON switch and set the Sensitivity to 3 or 4. On the RECEIVER, hold the Power button down until the red power light turns on. Set the sensitivity to 3 or 4. Point the RECEIVER unit towards the ground waving it back-and-forth and it will beep when it crosses over the buried wire. Simple as that! Works GREAT!! Highly recommended.
