I've wanted an ice maker for awhile, and spent months researching and comparing before purchasing the Euhomy ice maker. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase, it does exactly what I wanted it to do.

Pros:
- Ice cubes. The major thing I wanted in an ice maker is for it to make cubes, not the conical, tubular ice that many ice makers make. This machine makes nice, clear, cubed ice, exactly as I wanted.
- Love the water reservoir and the ice basket. Easy to fill the machine and easy to get the prepared ice out of the machine.
-Makes a fair amount of ice. A full reservoir will usually fill up two 1-gallon ziploc bags, maybe a little more. That works perfectly for my purposes, but if you need more (or less), that should be a consideration.

Neutral-
-This machine will not keep ice frozen in the machine. Meaning, you have to transfer the prepared ice to a bag, and put it in your freezer. At this price point, most ice machines are not also ice freezers, but it's a good to call out if that's something you are looking for. Ice left in the machine will melt and the water will return to the reservoir, which is handy.
- I don't consider this a 'party ice maker'. It makes enough ice to cool down a few glasses of drinks, maybe
even a small ice bucket. But for a party or a beverage tub, I still buy the bags of ice from the grocery store. It would take awhile to make that amount of ice with this machine.

-Time. I wouldn't call this machine 'fast' per se. It takes about 15-20 minutes for the first sheet on ice to drop into the ice basket. So it's not 'on-demand' ice. Usually not an issue for me, because I'm storing it up in my freezer.

Negatives-
-This machine is bulky. It's the size of a large ice cream maker or bread maker. It's too heavy to be something to bring in and out of your cupboards, so I leave it on my countertop. If countertop space is an issue for you, you should really consider if you are willing to be putting this machine away all the time.

- Noise. The actual whirring sound while the machine is making ice is not too loud in my opinion. On par with the quieter dishwasher models. However, the ice falls into the bucket with a bang. It doesn't bother me much, but something to think about.

All in all, this machine does what I needed it to do, and it does it well. Depending on what you are looking for in an icemaker, it's a very solid option and I'm pleased with my purchase.

Bought for my daughter last year. She leaves running every day. 24 hours a day. I bought for my RV. Makes soooo much ice a day. I like that you can choose the size of the cubes. Cubes are square. Not tubular.

I like the cubes this thing makes and does a much better job of making ice than my previous ice maker.
