We bought this playpen to contain a 4-week old kitten who quickly learned to leap out of any size cardboard box and was causing mischief in all parts of the house. We had to watch her constantly to prevent her from killing herself, but couldn't watch her at night or when we left the house. Into the pen went the kitten, a bed, a litter box, water and food dishes, and toys. For the next three months, the kitten used this pen as her toy, trampoline, ladder, scratching post, play area, and bed. She tore at the sides, ran around inside like a racecar on a track, and generally abused this thing on a daily basis. We thought for sure the zipper on the door would be the first thing to go because she'd grab the rolled up netting, pull it down, chew on it, scratch on it and hang on it, but months later, it still works great. In fact, the kitten has not significantly damaged this thing in any way. There are no rips and no degradation of purpose. In fact, when we had the kitten spayed at four months, she went back in the pen at night to keep her calm while she healed. She didn't like being confined or separated from her humans, but she actually loves her little house, so much so that we have left it in place for her to play in and with, even though we no longer lock her up in it. She likes to carry her stuffed animals in there and sit halfway in and halfway out of the doorway when she's tired. It has terrific features, like the zip open top that makes cleaning it easy. The material inside is also easy to clean. For a cat that is difficult to put through a doorway, which includes this one, it was easier to zip up the door, then drop her through the open roof, then zip up the roof. The see-through panels are great. She can sit in her pen and look out the window of the house with no problem. It's handy that it folds flat, so easy to store. At some point, we'll put it away, as it's a keeper and still in excellent condition if there's ever another pet to confine, or if we want to take this one somewhere and have a roomy, functional "house" for her to travel in. We did not use the side pockets or the water bottle strap and hole, but those are a couple of features that would be great for some people. This playpen was a lifesaver for us. It's worked perfectly for our needs with an often crazy wild kitten. The manufacturer truly thought of everything.

I was worried about the size and durability especially reading the reviews of the zippers not holding up.
I am happy I chose to go with this product. The size is perfect- you can fit a small bed and feeding water/ food combo in this playpen comfortably. Larger than a carrier or crate and gives my cat more room and comfort. The zippers are of high quality and as long as you are gentle with them, ie no tugging/pulling, i see them lasting a long time. I appreciate having the ability to access the playpen from the top for cleaning and the front access for my cat to come in and out. The seams are also solid and well made. Setup was easy and the playpen comes with a carry/ storage bag that is of much higher quality than others I've purchased. This is well worth your money and should be the only ones you invest in. I've had a few different ones and this one i will buy again and wholeheartedly recommend for isolation, introduction, sickness or visiting at a relatives house over christmas.

I have bought a few of these over the years for ferrets and cats. They are well made and easy to set up. Folding it back to put it away can be a bit challenging, but that gets easier with practice. If you're like me and don't let your cats roam free outside, these make it easy to give them time outdoors and keep them safe. I also used one for my ferrets when they got old and we're having issues climbing the ramps in their cage. They loved the wide open space and I liked that it was easier to clean than their cage was.

The problem was folding the playpen up and putting it back in the tote bag it comes in. Was great for giving my pup a place to sleep and feel safe. But she did find away to escape out of the zip top that comes with it. Big enough for her pillow she sleeps on and her water bowl. Perfect for visiting homes without pets.

Wanted a portable playpen that was easy to travel with. This one is great. My dogs love it. I did have to watch video twice on how to fold it. Once you get the hang of the folding method it's a great playpen.
