Easy to read from across the room, and I got it because it has temp and humidity. Pulled it out of the box, inserted the batteries that came with it, and it was ready to go with the correct time (there is a switch in the back for time zone, you just have to make sure that's in the correct position for your location).
However, it's almost 3 years later and I look up, it's 5 minutes behind. I'm not sure how long it took to get to this point. Not a big deal, hold down the SET button on the back until the time blinks, and you can adjust time and date. But I generally don't believe I own any other digital clock that loses time.

The numbers on this clock are easy to read wherever I am on my main floor. I keep this on a kitchen counter. It has two little arms that you can pull out to stabilize it on a flat surface.
Setting it up was easy. All I did was insert three AA batteries. It turned on immediately, with the correct time, day, date and weather info.
The clock is default set to Eastern Standard Time. There are is a switch on the back you can click to point to your own time zone if you aren't in EST.
The clock has an alarm, which I believe is default to 7:00 a.m. I have not used that feature.
If you want a simple, reliable clock, day/date and temperature station, this is a great buy. It is simple to use and doesn't have any frills. It is an excellent value.
(The package insert says the batteries will last 7 to 12 months.)

I got this May 8, 2021 and the batteries (I think were included with it way back when cause I've never bought/heard of that brand) are still going strong. I have ADHD and having a large font clock a few feet beside the TV or computer makes it so much easier to keep track of the time in my peripheral vision. After the initial setup, I'm pretty sure I've never had to touch it for Daylight savings or to change the batteries. Only recently moved it over further due to getting a larger screen. It does seem to run a little fast, but with ADHD, that's good because it gives me a few extra minutes to get ready.. lol Just stuck a thumb tack in the wall and it's hung nicely for over a year despite neighbors slamming doors at all hours.. Highly recommend!

I love this clock because I have "old eyes" and needed a clock that I could see from a distance. It's great, the numbers and letters are big and I love that. Only issue I do have with the clock is that , if it's dark in the room oor the light is off you cannot see the time. There's no backlight so I reach for my phone during evening times. Oh! I really love the temperature mode. Helps when I'm deciding my wardrobe for the day.
