We used these hiking while camping. I only used one and my husband used the other one. They were sturdy enough for him (240lb) to lean on while climbing rocky and hilly terrain. It was nice to adjust the height perfectly for both of us.

I was looking for a pair of trekking sticks for use on an Alaskan cruise this summer. I received a pair of good looking sticks for the price of one. I would recommend reading the instructions before trying to use these. There are two different locking mechanisms for each stick. Not compilcated but very inmportant that sticks are properly locked before attempting to use them. There are also a number of different options for the rubber feet. Overall, a great deal. Won't know about durability until I have a chance to use them.

I am amazed at the quality and utility of these poles. I bought them to have a backup pair in my trunk in case my regular (expensive and supposedly awesome) pair got dinged. Well, you might have guessed - these became my regular pair instead and at a price, I'm almost embarrassed to say, a very small fraction of my original pair! And yes, of course, I got extra ones to give as gifts! No one needs to know how much I spent :).

I use walking stick in place of a cane for balance due to a neurological event. I'm too young got a cane and can't pull off the Dr House vibe so these work quite well as a substitute for balance. My only criticism with these particular walking sticks is the pin that holds on the strap is constantly working its way out and I frequently have to push it back in. Otherwise, these are lightweight, seemingly durable, and versatile. I would probably recommend them to anyone for this price point.
