I got these for my mother in law. She walks a lot and some of her walking partners use walking sticks. This is her first pair. I got backpacking regularly and some of those that I hike with use them, but I have not really used them much myself.
These have different tips for differnt types of soil, which is a good idea, but it is a bit of a pain to change them out. There is a little clip to keep them together in a car or in storage. It takes a little effort to snap them in.
They are easily adjustable and the weight and balance is good. Different people will have differnt weight and balance priorities but they seem good to me.
