while its not made for outdoor, I installed it for outdoor BBQ cleaning area, not hit by rain though...

bolts to the wall very securely, if you have a secure wall, so beware.... I had hard board and ply....
plumbing not different than any other fixture, u need to know how to plumb...
springs are strong, nothing kinks...
swivels great....so far, no complaints, hope the finish holds up!
