Good rod and reel. My toddler loves having his own pole to fish with and the bag to keep everything in! Some of the stuff is very small so we had to replace it with actual side fishing tackle. Overall a good product so far and I would recommend for younger anglers.

I bought this fishing pole set for my Grandsons 6th birthday. His favorite color is blue so it was already a big hit before it even got close to any water. The only reason i did not give it 5 stars is because it did not come with any instructions at all. It would have been nice to have him learn how to set the drag, and what all the different Lures are for. Some of the included items i have never seen before myself and don't know what they are called or what to do with them, so i cant even look them up. Also, my son and i are a little concerned when collapsing it as we are afraid we might break or bend it since we tried to make sure it was tight when we opened it so it would work well. We just make sure we take our time and are careful.
That being said we all think it is a nice pole, it casts easily and smoothly even the 6 year old can get it way out into the lake. We've been fishing with it twice this summer and caught numerous fish both times, the first one a nice 13" bass. Another plus its the only pole we don't have trouble getting into the car!!!!
