They need extra stabilization to resist pushing if your dog is over ~10 pounds, but add a few t-posts or other means of keeping them still and they work great.
I use these outdoors around the yard or when traveling to keep my pets safely confined (especially smaller dogs if the yard fence isn't perfectly secure).
I use them indoors to confine puppies so they can't hurt themselves on electric cords or damage furniture. Food, water, bed, and a litter pan and your pup can spend the day safely and hygienically while you're at work.
Durable - I have probably 5 sets and they last a few years even outdoors with large dogs (longer indoors and clean).

Playpen is the right height for my Golden puppy. The weight is good as it's more sturdy than other flimsy playpens. The only thing I find is beyond stupid and annoying is the door. It measures 11" wide. Seriously, 11 inches wide??? I have to go thru sideways to get in. I cannot believe that this door is so narrow??? II wonder if my Golden would have issues going through in her adult size? Wow, design flaw big time. Outside of that, we are happy to have our quickly growing puppy safely contained for now.
