This is a quick and easy way to make hard boiled eggs. Easy to clean up especially if you add half vinegar and water after you are done cooking eggs. Any mineral build up wipes right off.

We are very happy with this egg cooker. We eat LOTS of hard-boiled eggs. It does an excellent job of cooking them. The cord is a nice length -- 30". The stainless steel heating plate does a great job and is easy to clean -- they suggest using some white vinegar when the plate is still warm, but we just wipe the heating plate off with a damp dishcloth once it has cooled. The alarm is fine -- some have commented on it sounding like a security alarm -- it sort of does (versus being a "buzz") but it is not real loud, so this is fine with us.

My partner uses this daily. It has worked well since day 1. I don't its super easy to clean but there are not that many parts. I also think that without enough water the metal surface can burn easily, which we have done. Either way, it still works and works well, quickly and easily. Great value for money and for breakfast where we need some protein!
