Absolutely gorgeous! It is smaller then the image in my mind. For some reason I thought I read it was a full sized guitar. It seems a bit smaller BUT I can't return it because I love it!!! Feels good in my hands. I'm a beginner guitarist but picking her up, tuning her, then playing her for hours was magical. This guitar turned my arthritic amateurish attempts plucking away at the pentatonic minor scales like a seasoned performer. Damn, I love KATIEDID. (Named after my beautiful daughter RIP).

Solid guitar, this is my first guitar so not the most discerning guitar reviewer. Nice craftsmanship, no issues so far. One thing I will say is while I do like the sound, the sound is pretty bright, or is stronger on the high end. Bass and fullness is a little bit lacking on this guitar compared to others. Good for some songs, not as good for others. Still enough bass and fullness to get by, it sounds nice and can still handle more low end songs, but something to be aware of.

This guitar is immortal. I have had it about 8-9 years...and it has had a storied life. Below are some that i remember.
Was in a flood. The case floated away from a wall and then sank completely submerging the guitar for 8-12 hours.
Was locked in an unheated press box for a year in New England.
Has been hit into every hard surface in my home. No damage.
Has been strung with martin high tension bullet end nylon string (IN PICTURE) for a few years and the action never changed as a result.
Only flaw (my only laminate side/back guitar) is that it is not as loud as my other instruments, but has a decent pickup.
This guitar is unbreakable, and the construction is very well done. No over application of glue, comfortable action, and impervious to weather. I would feel comfortable playing this in a snow storm, around a zero humidity campfire, on the beach, in any temperature, and know that it will stay in tune and have no lasting impact on the instrument. I would even feel comfortable just leaving it in the trunk of my car for years with no regard for heat or humidity. This is an unbreakable nice looking learning tool you can bring anywhere without worry.
