This is the review for EDUP WiFi6 card Bluetooth 5.0 with (Red) Heat Sink, PCIe Network Card AX 3000Mbps AX200 802.11AX 2.4/5.8GHz Wireless PCI Express Wi-Fi Adapter Dual Band Antenna for Windows10 64-bit.

I was looking for a wireless network PCIe card in order to rebuild my old computer by swapping with a new motherboard for our entertainment room. The old configuration has AMD 250GB MLC SSD (system drive, Windows10 Home installed) and AMD Phenom II 6 Core processor, hooked with 1Gbps wired network cable, so AMD Ryzen 3 2200G was installed with the new motherboard tied with the above-mentioned SSD. As stated above, the original configuration had no wireless network card, so that is why I was looking at this card.

Before moving our present house, I was using a CAT5 network cable to hook with my broadband router. But, because a mesh wireless network was introduced to our house, I have to have a high-speed wifi network card.

As a result, this card works very well for my sake. Apparently I feel that the network speed may be equivalent or faster than the wired one, though the exact throughput was not measured. The price tag was $36 when purchased and I am quite impressed of this product as long as the relatively low price over the market of the wifi adapter is taken into account. Thus, this is a good option to upgrade an old system and cost-benign.

At a glance, the card has a red heat-sink covering Intel AX200 chip to dissipate heat, indicative of generating relatively larger heat. Although I cannot infer how long it lasts under this circumstance, I like this heat-sink because it looks nice coordination with the board.
Please note that 4-pin connector is equipped on this board to supply power from USB3.0 pin on a motherboard, so you have to prepare one USB pin which will be occupied by this card and you need to consider the other option if your motherboard has a limited number of USB pins.

So far no issue has been found on my system and I am very satisfied with this product. Thus, as long as you want to minimize your investment to upgrade your old system, again this is an option to go for. The intuitive throughput is promising and BT5.0 is also a plus factor.

I've e-mailed the company 3 times now with no reply. I can not get this card to go over 300mbs. My Desktop with built in wifi6 picks up on my 6g. This card will not. Anyone have any ideas?

Works perfectly on my Windows 10 machine as advertised, but if you don't have an open 9-pin USB integration slot on your mother board then you might have a problem.
On mine I have two 9-pin pickups, but both were already being used for the USB. I unplugged the one with less connection wires attached and plugged in the EDUP WiFi 6 Card AX 3000Mbps PCIe Network Card and it worked perfectly immediately with Windows 10 automatically picking up the latest new drivers. Simple plug it in and it works, no drivers supplied on the stick required to be installed.
(Note that this is home built full size ATX computer using Windows 10 on the ASRock X99X Fatal1ty motherboard that I built up back in 2017)

In fact, it worked so good that even without the supplied antennas installed It did wonders for my WiFi and Bluetooth connections. After installing the antennas there is a noticeable range improvement, so don't forget them. No noticeable interference from any cables nearby so far too. That could have been just luck, but I like it. :o)

That's the good news. The not so good news is, what about the plug I just disconnected to make it happen?
Well, I've went through everything I can think of and can't find anything about my computer that isn't functioning properly with that cable unplugged, which doesn't make sense. Yet, there it is. Since I didn't follow that cable to the other end to figure it out because I have everything tucked away so neatly that it would be a major chore to do so, I'm not sure where it's going!

I suspect I'm going to stumble upon what that cable is supposed to be doing the hard way later on so if there is some kind of an adapter that can be used to plug both of them in at the same 9-pin slot on the motherboard it would be helpful to know about it.

INITIAL REVIEW: Will update for longevity later

So I upgraded my wifi to gigabit speed (940 technically) due to online gaming, trading from home and wife working from home, etc. My ISP gave me a new Wifi 6 router (whats wifi 6 i asked...) and told me the only way to get even close to gigabit speeds is either by using a newer device with built in wifi 6, connecting my PC to an ethernet cable or getting a updated network adapter. I built my PC a few years ago so It only has a built in wifi 5 adapter and I can't connect directly to my PC because my office is on the other side of the house from the router so I opted for the final option. Previously I was netting about 40 - 100 mbps on regular wifi to my PC.... which is fine but not when you're now paying for gigabit speeds. I took a chance despite somewhat mixed reviews about this adapter to be able to access the technology that I was paying for. I'm glad to say that my speeds jumped up to 360 mbps! Granted thats not 1000mbps, but obviously we have multiple devices, and the speed tests are probably not the raw output from the router but im glad to say that downloading a 90 gb game only takes an hour instead of 18 hours haha

INSTALLATION:
nothing to it. I read before buying that this card had issues loading the correct drivers, etc. so I just hooked it up and turned the PC on. PC took a little bit longer than normal load up but Im assuming that was due to the drivers installing themselves. NOTE: I already had existing wifi as previously stated thats probably why I didnt need to run the USB drive that it came with.

FIRST IMPRESSION: happy with it so far, but because im so far away from the router im loosing a bar of signal which in turn could be affecting speeds, I thought that having this adapter would also remedy that but so far it doesnt.

Got this to replace an old PCI card in an in-between desktop with slots for both old and new that I built back in 2014. The old card was causing some issues and flaking out. After doing the research, this card seemed like a great replacement. It arrived quite quickly, and installed fairly easily. Despite building a desktop PC in 2014 and a new one this month, I'd never used a 1x PCI-e slot before, so that was a bit of a novel experience. It hardly seemed up to the task of holding this card, but seems to be fine.

I tried connecting the cable that comes with the card to a free USB header (2.0 I think), but I got an error message about overvoltage from my motherboard, so ultimately I didn't bother. Bluetooth would have been nice, but it's not what we really needed and just seemed like icing on the cake.

This card comes with the two antennae, mounting screws and some sort of extra mounting plate (couldn't tell what it was for exactly), the cable to connect to USB (a bit fragile, so take care), and a USB thumb drive with the drivers.

The speed test results were the same between my ethernet-wired new desktop, located next to the wifi router, and the desktop with this card in it, a room away. Now we can game together with no issues!
