My old little Worx electric mower was great but the battery eventually died & the company no longer made them & no one anywhere was selling them. I decided to buy another Worx and this is a slightly larger one but not too big. It's an upgraded version of my previous one. It takes 2 small rechargeable batteries instead of one big heavy battery which sounds bothersome but it isn't. They are so lightweight & easy to install & these ones won't leak like the old one did on my table during charging. The handle folds down for easy storage & I love it. Oh, & it is quieter than my previous model. I use it @ my cabin which is mostly covered w/ trees & ferns but there is an average front yard, side yard & grassy driveway that's pretty long & I cut all of it w/ one battery charge. If you have a much larger yard, I cannot tell you if it will suit your needs. But for me, I am totally pleased & I highly recommend if you want a lightweight mower for a reasonably sized yard.

I purchased this lawnmower 2 years ago which has been used weekly for our small lawn. Last Friday, it stopped cutting. We had it looked over by a technician and it seemed that there was a problem with the housing of the motor. My son called the company as there is a 3 year limited warranty hoping that they could assist us with either a repair or replacement. I really didn't want to spend another $350 on a lawnmower at this time. I can say that I am thrilled that the lawnmower will be replaced and a new one sent to us. I have other WORX products and have been very satisfied with the performance and longevity of them all. This puts an icing on the cake and felt the importance of sharing this wonderful customer service experience with you. After the professional mowing company I've been using for several years raised their prices significantly during the pandemic to better cover their rising gasoline costs, I decide to revolt by buying this little battery mower and mow my average size lawn myself. This thing paid for itself in no time. This is my second year using this mower and it's been a great little machine! I'm a grandma in my 60s and I didn't want to bother with a mower that needed gasoline and oil, spark plugs, etc. or any kind of routine maintenance that I don't have a clue how to do. I was able to unpack and assemble this by myself with zero mechanical knowledge. The two batteries last about 45 minutes to and hour on a charge. I can usually get my whole yard done on a single charge, depending on how long I've let my grass get between mowings. I use the mulching feature each time. I've tried bagging it once and that worked great too. I prefer mulching though. Be sure to inspect your yard prior to mowing and pick up any pinecones or sticks longer than 12 inches before you mow, as accidently running over those with the mower will make a terrible sound and will dull your blade faster. This mower is small in size, but that's just what I need. A male relative of mine made fun of it and said it looks like a child's bubble mower, but I don't care that it's small. It gets the job done well and it's perfect for me and my average size yard. I don't mind that the mower deck is smaller than a lot mowers out there. I can maneuver this mower well and it isn't heavy to push up a sloping yard. The batteries take about 5 hours to recharge. So make sure you plan ahead and charge them well in advance so you're ready to go. This grandma says "get it."

It's quiet, it cuts. Battery only lasts for about 20 mins, and it does stop in thick grass, but so does a gas mower. This just stops with a bit less resistance. I have a 4400 Sq ft lot, including the house, so about 2600 sqft of lawn. I charged it, cut the front. Charged it overnight, and cut the back.

To be fair, I should have listened to the reviews that said it could only do about 1/4 acre on a single charge. This is a fantastic mower, but boy am I kicking myself for not listening to the reviews. I have a 1/2 acre lot with approximately 10,000 square feet of grass. I just re-seeded, so I've been told to keep my grass as tall as possible to shade the roots, and mowing through the jungle of grass makes it so it takes longer to get through. This means less grass gets mowed on a single charge. I can only get about 1/4 through before I need to charge again. I did buy a second set of batteries, but still can only get through 1/2 of the yard with the 2 sets. I imagine that if I was able to walk faster and not have to trim so much, I could get through the whole yard with the 2 sets, but at this point I cannot. Still an amazing mower. The mulching capability is great, and I like that it gives more power if you're going through really thick areas. It would be the best mower ever if the battery life was just a bit longer!
