My toddler is extremely active and HIGH energy! I have to take him to the park, everyday, to help him wind down and go to bed at an appropriate time. Yes! Playing catch before bed really helped my toddler transition into bedtime with much more ease.

Sometimes we play catch, roll the ball back and forth or he does ball slams on his own. We play for about 20 minutes before I notice the exhaustion starting to kick in. Once I see him slowing down, I put it aside and we continue with bedtime routine and eventually laying down for the night.
