I discovered IQBAR's after a major surgery when doctors and physical therapists recommended increasing protein intake and limiting sugars/carbs to enhance the healing process. Amazon must have been listening because when I began the search to increase protein / reduce carbs, IQBAR's felt like the best solution. The bars are great as a meal substitute and a nice energy boost before a workout. Plus, they taste great and have a variety of flavors. Tastes very sweet, tho' low sugar. Pretty good ingredients. Only tried 3, so far. Did not care for the coconut and chocolate was a let down. (not chocolaty) The wild blueberry and banana were yummy. Slightly sticky and slightly greasy from coconut oil. I really like the chewy texture. Great for diabetics when you need something quick. Great for everyone else to have for a quick snack and good to carry. I won't buy again because i only like 2 flavors. Want to buy only the flavors i like.

I like that IQ bars are high protein and low sugar and vegan. That is a hard combo to find. I will say that they smell more like their flavor than taste. The flavors are quite bland. The texture is like that of firm cookie dough. I have bought them several times. I think these are up to preference. Remember that because they are only about 1 gram of sugar per bar, the chocolate flavors will be quite dark and bitter. No milk chocolate flavors around here. I like that they offer plenty of non-chocolate flavors as my husband dislikes chocolate. They are a great option as a portable and healthy snack.

The lemon blueberry & chocolate seasalt bars are the two I've tried recently. I like them. They are good for a sweet craving & as a morning or afternoon snack to hold one over to the next meal.

The boxes need a serious makeover. Extremely hard to open, overly glued on both ends. No open top like many other boxes have, rip n tear...sucky box. Maybe not a big deal for some but when one has problems in the jounts of hands n fingers..this box gets a big fat F/0 stars..
Overpriced...Walmart sells a 4 bar box for 5.98..so 5.98 x 3 (12 bars) =$17.94...IQ you have some work to do.
Indeed the overall bars were a much needed improvement. TY for the improvement.
