Olive Oil Untainted by the Mafia

If you have done your due diligence, you know a vast portion of the EVOO industry is run by the mafia, selling fake EVOO that is made of blends of other cheaper oils. That includes some of the biggest names in the industry. (Just Google 'olive oil mafia' if you haven't heard of this).
This one, however is pure EVOO from California. Because it is manufactured in California, from beginning to end, I can trust that there are no middlemen or gangsters diluting it, and that the FDA has verified any claims by California Olive Ranch --unless they're ALL in on it-- but I digress...
This is a fantastic olive oil with a natural, fruity flavor. The bottle is a gorgeous dark emerald green, thick and sturdy glass. Some may have a preference what they use this oil on, but I use it for everything, from oiling a pan, to marinating meat, to dipping bread. Some may actually prefer a fake oil because it is all they have ever known. I was like that at first. But after consuming this for several months now, I can never go back.
Do be aware, however, that this company also sells a product called Destination Series that contains a blend of foreign oils, but at least they are transparent about it on the bottle. I wish they didn't, since I feel it detracts from what they are known for, 100% California, but I guess they have their reasons. Just be aware when shopping for California Olive Ranch products about the Destination foreign blend. Just make sure it says 100% California and you should be good.
That being said, this particular product, the 100% California grown oil, is what is says it is, and does not contain foreign oils, nor is it affected by the mob rings who control EVOO in Italy. I will continue to purchase it as long as they stay true to their ideals of producing 100% California oil.
