It makes ice pretty quick, it makes a little noise but nothing too noisy. The machine doesn't take up a lot of counter space which is nice. I like that you can pick the size of ice cube, however I feel like the small ice cubes are less hard but it could be useful for like a snow cone maybe?

I ordered this for my basement kitchen as we are always running short on ice. Since this is where we do most of our entertaining and bar service, this ice shortage was becoming more and more of a problem. We found ourselves buying ice more more frequently than what made sense, and since the freezer is small any leftover was an issue to store. So a countertop icemaker was the obvious solution! This thing Is the easiest thing on earth to use. I have used one before, my mom has one, but still I didn't crack open the directions at all. If you raise the lid on the front, you will see an ice tray along with the scooper. When it arrives these items are taped in place. Once you remove those there is a reservoir where are you pour the water. There is a label in the side of that reservoir that says max fill. Simply pour water to that line and turn this on. There are some options for ice cube size, make a choice and in a few minutes you will have a whole basket of ice. If you scoop any out, it will automatically make more in just a couple of minutes as long as there is still water in the reservoir. The ice remains intact for hours, Although we haven't tested it for too long because we go through it. It's a great supplement to our icemaker in the freezer that's not so great. I also really love the ice that it makes, looks like a little bullets. I have provided pictures.

so this product was delivered to me sept. 8th 2020. i live in an apartment and i'm lazy to make ice but love ice in my drinks. also, ice trays take up too much space in my freezer and we like to buy bulk so obviously that was an issue. i LOVE having an automatic ice machine! it's so wonderful. it's not incredibly loud and it's not huge either. it's only relatively loud when it's filling the ice tray or dropping the ice cubes. super easy to clean as it has a "clean" function.
note: this is not a freezer. so, if your house is relatively warm, your ice is going to melt away. like the oldest ice cubes at the bottom of the tray melt and just add to the water and get remade. but the ice is cold enough to keep the ice in there frozen but it's not it's own little freezer. if you want to preserve the ice lingerie it's important to you to have perfect shaped cubes, move the ice into the freezer. we use the machine frequently enough that it just runs all the time. like i said, if the room is warmer, it will melt the ice faster. i'm ice only stays as cold as the ice available will retain that cool temperature. if you've placed it next tot he stove and there's a hot grittier or burner next to it it's gonna warm the machine up and melt the ice in the tray.
overall i love this product and it's great for what we need it for. i love having this machine and no longer having ice trays in my freezer. would be great for parties too.

I love this ice maker! Super easy set up easy to use. It's just as described. I picked this one because it has a self cleaning mode. I didn't think it was that loud. The first batch took about 10 minutes to make but after that it seemed faster. I put some in the freezer to store for later.
