Once I installed the software (a little tricky for me) this do cam was very easy to use. I use it to share handouts and do live step by step for math problems. It focuses quickly and is slimline to fits easy on my desk with other stuff.

Works just as advertised. Video quality is very good. Only criticism is it doesn't have a down facing light to illuminate object for camera.

This camera is exactly what I needed. I have been teaching from home , and needed to have something to help out with work sheets.

I have been using this brand for 4 years now. I own the vz-1 hd. It is an excellent product! I am an educator and I use it everyday for a full school day. I use the Zoom platform with Windows. Ipevo document cameras and the previous software is a teacher's dream tool. So much so, I have boasted to my colleagues in the profession that this is the "game-changing device". I recently purchased the Ipevo Docam. I am very happy with my purchase. I like that it is light and quite portable. The features are exactly what us educators need for our daily virtual teaching. However, I recently did a software update and the new version is quite disappointing. The new window border takes up too much space. My camera view is now a fuzzy version of what I once had and the several-seconds delay with the images are so frustrating. I was accustommed to the 'real-time' movement that I had previously with no delays. Now it is slow. Definitely a backward step. Ipevo, please correct this!! The quality of the delivery of my lessons daily is really dependent on you providing quality software. Many educators find themselves having to fund their own devices in order to deliver quality lessons to their students. Ipevo is not the most expensive but it is not the cheapest either. The devices are well-made and do exactly what they say they are do. The software engineers need to revisit and get back the high quality performance that the previous software had. I look forward to writing my next excellent review.

Connects well and very compact which is what I wanted. You will have to download the APP and there are several to choose from so I used the standard since I use it for teaching a via my Surface Pro 7 to project on a large overhead via HDMI connector. If you do use the SP7 or similiar you will want to also purchase the "Surface Pro 7 USB C Hub, HOGORE 6-in-2 Surface Pro Adapter Dock with 4K HDMI, USB C PD charging, 2USB3.0,SD/MicroSD Card Reader, for Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Accessories, MS Surface Pro Docking Station" sold at a incredible good price. That way I was able to connect both the camera and a mouse (i hate touch pads).
There is only one thing I do not like about it and that is it does not extend Vert enough to display a full page (8x11) sheet of paper but if you tilt the camera just enough you will get most of the paper. If only they had added at least 1 more inch or 2.
